You will need:
Your favourite marbled steak (we buy aged, grass-fed Alberta)
1-2 tsp butter per steak
1-2 tsp "Maverick" Kampot Peppercorn Seasoning
(depending on the size of the steak)
Generously sprinkle both sides of your steak(s) with "Maverick" Kampot peppercorn Seasoning. Let steaks sit until they have come to room temperature.
Fire up the grill (or stovetop). On med-high heat, get the pan hot (a little splash of water will tell you if the pan is hot or not),
Place the steaks in the pan (or directly on the bbq grill). Cook for about 1-2 minute(s). When the bottom of the meat is seared and slightly charred, flip over. Cook another 1-2 minute(s).
Add butter to the top of the steaks and remove the pan from heat. Let sit in the pan for 15 minutes (so juices are kept in the steak).
Plate the meat and drizzle with the juices in the pan.
