You will need:
1 cup hulled sesame seeds
3-4 Tbsp of your favourite olive oil
Over med-high heat, pour sesame seeds into a dry frying pan.
Stir until you start to notice the sesame seeds are turning
a tan colour.
Remove from the burner and let cool.
The scent of roasted sesame seeds is heavenly!
Once your sesame seeds are roasted and cooled, pour them into your food processor. Blend on high for 1 minute. You will notice the seeds are clumping. Scrape the sides of the bowl and blend for another minute.
Slowly start adding in your olive oil, while the food processor
is blending, until you reach a smooth consistency.
Scrape into a container with a tight lid.
Congratulations! You just made Easy Tahini.
Refrigerate for up to 3 months. Freezes beautifully.
